  • He has about 129K followers on Instagram, where his bio says he went from high school dropout to Inc. 5000 CEO (his claim).
  • His offer is the Strategic Scale Sprint: a 2-day in-person workshop in Atlanta plus 6 months of support, sold on a 45-minute call. The price is never shown.
  • His Facebook page has about 150 ads live right now. 57 of them send people into this funnel, and 28 say "We've helped over 3,000 coaches and consultants generate more leads than their agency ever did" (his claim).
  • He says he has put over $4 million of his own money into paid ads (his claim).

The Funnel, Step By Step

1. The adA video about firing your agency. Button: Learn more or Book now.
2. /sprintHeadline, a video, then one of the biggest proof walls I've seen. 65,000 pixels tall.
3. The surveyOne easy question first, then name, email and phone. Captured before the calendar.
4. The calendarPick a time, then 9 questions: revenue, biggest challenge, and a promise to show up with every decision maker.
5. Thank-you pageA video, a pre-call assessment, "bring your spouse", and the proof wall again.
6. The call45 minutes on Zoom. One call only. Then 2 days in Atlanta + 6 months of support.
Side doors: 16 ads skip to step 4 (/bookcall). 6 ads go to /call, which lands on the July workshop page.
✓ WORKING

He Blames The Agency, Not The Coach

"That answer isn't a mistake, it's the business model."
"even if they didn't consider themselves 'tech savvy'"
He tells their story, then flips it
What's happening
His buyer already has a story: "I paid an agency and it didn't work." He starts right there: "You paid an agency to fix your lead flow and the answer was always the same: increase the budget. That answer isn't a mistake, it's the business model." Then his biggest ad group (35 ads) offers the way out: "We've helped over 3,000 coaches and consultants generate more leads than their agency ever did. Even if they didn't consider themselves 'tech savvy', they just sat down with us for 2 days" (his claim).
Why it makes him money
He never tells the coach they messed up. He tells them they got played, which is the story they want to hear, and then he sells the fix the way they want it: leads without another agency and without becoming a tech person. The page headline says it back ("eliminating ad agencies and taking control of their lead generation"), so the click feels like the same conversation.
What to steal
Write down what your buyer blames for being stuck. Show them why it was never their fault, then finish this line: "get X, without Y", where Y is the thing they dread doing. Put both in the ad and the first line of your page.
✓ WORKING

He Sells The Hours Back, Not More Leads

"Part of you doesn't want the leads."
"he had 52 hours a month back"
The goal isn't leads, it's getting your life back
What's happening
A coach at $10K a month already has clients and no time. He says that fear out loud: "Part of you doesn't want the leads... you've watched people fix lead generation, fill the calendar, and end up working more than they did before." Then his client story ads sell time: Abdul "had 52 hours a month back. He put those hours into his wife, his kids, and MMA training." Another runs on a daughter asking "Why is Daddy always working?"
Why it makes him money
More leads is what this buyer is meant to want, but more leads can also mean more work. Time with their family is what they actually want, so he sells that and makes the leads the way to get it. A parent who sees their own kid in that story feels it hard enough to book the call.
What to steal
Ask your best clients what the money gave them, not how much they made. Lead your story ads with that (the school run, the Fridays off) and put the revenue number second.

Proof From People Like Them

"Von drives box trucks for a living"
"Sharing this as an example, not a promise."
Name + their niche on every thumbnail✓
Ordinary jobs, not gurus✓
Says plainly it's not a promise✓
He answers "will it work for me?" before the call
What's happening
The doubt he hears is "I'm not a marketer, I'm busy running a business." So the proof is ordinary owners by name: "Von drives box trucks for a living", Destiny who "helps people repair their credit", Lindsey the estate planning attorney, Tara Reed who helps people launch app ideas. His story ads say "Sharing this as an example, not a promise" and "I can't promise you the same results, or any at all." The page is wall after wall of these videos, each with the client's niche on the thumbnail.
Why it makes him money
His buyer got burned by an agency that promised big. A wild claim makes them back away, but a box truck driver winning, told honestly, makes them think "if he can, I can". So most of the "will it work for me" questions are answered before the call, and the closer has less to sell.
What to steal
Tag every testimonial with who the client was before (their job, their niche, their level). Run your three most ordinary ones as ads, and say out loud that it's an example, not a promise.
✗ LEAKING

"Book Your Session" → A July Workshop

Book Your Strategic Scale Session → July 23rd @ 12 PM EST
A calendar → A countdown stuck at 00 00 00
scalethesmartway.com/call redirects to /liveworkshop. Checked in a real browser on Oct 5 2026, desktop and iPhone.
6 ads, all still live Oct 5✗
Ads started Sep 14✗
No calendar on the page✗
He's paying for clicks that land on a dead event
What's happening
Six live ads say "Book Your Strategic Scale Session". The button goes to /call, which sends you to a free workshop page dated July 23 with the countdown at zero. There's no calendar on that page. The ads started on September 14, seven weeks after the workshop ended.
Why it costs him money
He pays for every click, but the person who wanted to book a call can't. So the cost per booked call on those 6 ads is far higher than it should be, and the leads he doesn't get just leave. One ad even says "nothing they get paid on happens after somebody lands on your page", and then the page is dead.
What I'd build instead
Today: point /call at the live booking page. Then build a weekly check that clicks every live ad's link and flags anything that lands on an old date. And any event page should switch itself to the replay or the next date once the event is over, so a dead page can't happen again.
✗ LEAKING

1 Open Slot. Then A 12-Day Gap.

"bookings up to 5 days out" → next real choice: Oct 21
35 ads → 1 slot this week
Live slot feed from both public calendars, checked Oct 5 2026. Slots change every day.
/book-sprint: 1 slot, Oct 9✗
/bookcall: 3 slots, Oct 6 + 9✗
Then nothing until Oct 21✗
/bookcall asks for nothing until you pick a time✗
His ads make more buyers than his calendar can hold
What's happening
After the /sprint survey you land on a calendar with one open time in the next two weeks: Friday Oct 9 at 11 AM Eastern. After that, nothing until October 21. The page says "if you can't find a time check back tomorrow". On /bookcall, where 16 ads land, you don't give a name until you've picked a time.
Why it costs him money
Someone who books 16 days out is far less likely to show up than someone who books for tomorrow, so the show rate drops. Anyone on /bookcall who can't make those times leaves without a name, so there's nobody to follow up with. That pushes up the cost of every call that actually happens.
What I'd build instead
Add a short 15-minute call with a setter that's always open within 48 hours, and the setter books the main call. Put "name, email, phone" before the calendar on /bookcall too. For anyone booked more than 3 days out, run a text and email sequence with one short video a day until the call, plus 24 hour, 2 hour and 10 minute reminders.
✗ LEAKING

The Deal-Killers Show Up On The Call

2 days, your own ad system → 2 days, in person, in Atlanta
Book a call → One call only. Come ready to join.
"We run them in Atlanta, and we can discuss the next dates on your call." (/sprint FAQ). The /bookcall page never says where or how much.
"In person, Atlanta" in 0 of 57 funnel ads✗
"In person" only in the FAQ, 94% down✗
Price: nowhere✗
Buyers find out about travel and price on the call
What's happening
The two things that decide a yes or no are hidden. That it's in person in Atlanta sits in a closed FAQ near the very bottom of a 65,000 pixel page, and in the ad text I could read, none of the 57 funnel ads say it. The price isn't anywhere. And the thank-you page says it's one call only, so come ready to join.
Why it costs him money
A coach in Seattle or London books, gives up 45 minutes, and only then hears "you'll need to fly to Atlanta" and the price. Some of those calls were never going to close, and the closer burns the time anyway. That's a lower close rate and a higher cost per sale.
What I'd build instead
Put a "Before you book" box above every calendar: 2 days in person in Atlanta, about $30 to $50 a day in ad spend, and a price range. He already prints "$5,000 to $60,000" on his playbook page. Then add a 3-minute "what it costs and how it works" video on the thank-you page.
IMPROVE

Improve

Sessions 16 days out → A setter call within 48 hours
Name after the calendar → Name before the calendar (/bookcall)
Atlanta in the FAQ → Atlanta + price range above the calendar
Match the calendar to the ad spend
What's happening
The calendar has almost no open times in the next two weeks, and the facts that decide the sale stay hidden until the call.
Why it costs him money
Every week of wait and every surprise on the call costs show-ups and closes he has already paid the ads for.
What I'd build instead
A 15-minute setter call that's always open within 48 hours, a contact form before every calendar, and a short "Before you book" box with where, when and a price range.
KILL IT

Kill

/call → July 23 workshop
"Check back tomorrow"
Kill the dead page and the dead end
What's happening
Six ads go to a workshop that happened in July. And when there's no time that works, the page tells buyers to come back tomorrow.
Why it costs him money
Both send a paid click away with nothing. Plenty of people told to come back tomorrow never do.
What I'd build instead
Redirect /call to the live booking page today. Replace "check back tomorrow" with "No time that works? Leave your number and we'll text you the next opening."
DO THIS

Do This

1. Fix /call today
2. Setter call within 48 hours
3. Daily video + text until the call
Three fixes, in order of money
What's happening
One is a two-minute redirect. One is a new short call type and a contact form. One is a show-up sequence for people booked days out.
Why it costs him money
The redirect stops paying for dead clicks today. The setter call and the sequence go after the show rate, which is where a calendar booked two weeks out loses the most.
What I'd build instead
Redirect /call, add the 48-hour setter call with name and phone first, then a daily text and video sequence until the booked call.

That's only what I could see from the outside.

The real leaks are in the numbers: show rate, close rate, cost per booked call. Want your funnel exposed next?
